Browned butter bread stuffing soaked in a creamy egg custard and mixed with roasted turkey. Garnished with fresh herbs and finely shredded manchego cheese.
Morning Bird Brunch-Strata

INGREDIENTS:
Large Eggs | 6 Eggs |
Milk | 2 Cups |
Morton Kosher Salt | 2 teaspoons |
Black Pepper, Ground | ½ teaspoon |
Browned Butter Bread Stuffing, Cold | 5 Cups |
PREPARATION METHOD:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk eggs, milk, kosher salt, and black pepper. Add bread stuffing, and fold together until all the bread is completed coated in the egg mix.
- In a greased 9”x9” baking dish, pour in strata mix and spread to make an even layer in the dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake strata covered for ~20 minutes, then uncover the dish and bake for another 10-15 minutes. The stuffing should be lightly toasted on the top and the middle of the strata should be set.
- Remove strata from the oven and let cool for ~5 minutes (unless you want to feed folks lava temp. brunch).
- Divvy strata onto plates and serve hot [with maybe a side salad and a flute of bubbly because you can – get fancy with that shit].
